We just got a rather disturbing scam call today.
The phone registered an incoming call from my fatherās home phone number.
It was just a standard Medicare scam so it was easy enough to hang up.
But that was NOT just standard method. Usually you get something from your area code
But someone cared enough to know our house # and name + people who might be related to me.
And look up their number and fake it.
OR.
My phone is being tapped.
Or something.
Damn creepy.
To make matters worse I programmed the phone with my fatherās number making it easier to dial.
I saved it as Dad. So when the phone call came in and said āDadā it was extra confusing.
Be watchful out there.
