Hi,My name is Keisha
Im new on here :) I live in Idaho.Happily married with 2 Children 11 & 3 yes old
I have 2 furbabies ~ A Papillon named Gelli & a Boxer hybrid named Dutch :)
AND a Eclectus Parrot named Seaweed who has completely taken over my heart & house as the "head pet" LoL He is my 1st official Parrot ( Ive had budgies & a QP growing up) But I wanted a decent sized parrot.So I did over a year of research & decided to go with an Eclectus.It has been so rewarding having him. We take showers,he goes for car rides & to the stores with me.Needless to say that we are very bonded lol.I even have some of my friends wanting to have a parrot in their life after seeing the constant pics of him that Im always sharing.He will be a year old September 13. He preens himself & stretches himself while Im holding him.Which I find very rewarding-parrots just dont do that with every1 ya know ;D.So now that I have Seaweed in my life I have noticed that not only am I passionate about Dogs but Parrpts as well :D I think they are heaven sent. Looking 4ward to making friends here & sharing our wonderful stories that these feathered babies bring us on a daily :)

:)HELLO, new to this site im hoping i will learn more about my bird,i have 2 teils,2 quakers,i live in Va and work at a small family pet store witch is really fun also,and alot of big birds that i would like to get.

Just want to say hi. I am new to the Senegal named George world. He's a piece of work that boy. I got him from my dad beings he has no time for him. He's about 4 to 6 years of age. I am the only one so far that can get close to him. He will be a challenge for me. I am use to the African Greys and kind of partial to their breed. But can't let this little guy be lonely. Anyone with any great ideas, bring them my way.

Hi I am Brian, my fiance (Janet) and I just got a 5 month old sun conure a week ago. I have gone crazy over this bird. He is so loving and funny to watch. His ? name is Skittles (my fiance's fav thing). I have never owned a bird before but I have raised 2 kids so it looks like I have another 20+ years raising yet another creature. I have already made him a pearch for when we bring skittles out on the screened porch. I will probly be asking a lot of questions and advice.

Hi and welcome to the forum:) You have come to the right place for great advice... We would love to see some pics of Skittles:)

My name is Sandy. I purchased my first conure last month, a 4 month old Dusky Conure named Gizmo. This is the first bird I've ever owned. We saw Gizmo at a Petco where my daughter and I were volunteering. Gizmo delighted us with his personality and his antics. He was engaging and seemed to be asked us to take him home. I did research for about a month, making certain a bird would be the right fit for us before we took the plunge and make him a part of our family!

I have four kids, two German Shepherds, two rabbits, two chinchillas, two guinea pigs and a cat that adopted us. Needless to say, we have quite a busy household!

I was on another forum for awhile, but it was a very quiet board. This one has a lot of member involvement, so I thought I'd hang with you guys!

I am new to this forum.

I am from South Africa (Johannesburg) Nikita was given to me after her last owner could not work with her she was biting and trusting no one. After a month she was in my arms and I love her.

Reading your posts with similar problems helped me a lot.

Thanks:red1::red:

OK.. If you click on forums and look down the list, you will find New Members Welcome. Click on new thread and write your new post in there and if you would like to add some pics, here is how to do it;;;

When you are creating your post, go into attachments, click on upload from Computer, then browse.. click on the pic you want to show, then click on upload.... or if you have photobucket just hover mouse over the image then left click on IMG and it will say copied, then just paste into your message box, go onto preview post and it will show if it has gone in properly:)

If you have any problems just shout lol

Awesome! Thank you!! Where do I go to help with my grey?

I was roaming around the forum and got lost. Ugh! But I did find something interesting. A video of miyshka (I don't remember how to spell it and I probably wont be able to find it) she was saying " mommy, " so so cute.
