Hi everyone, just a quick intro. Looking at adding a parrot to the family but weighing the pro's and cons. Have had keets off and on over the years with the latest one purchased in 2012. We live in De. and have been to 5 bird stores in about a 2 hour radius. Trying to learn from store owners, internet and library as much as we can so we can make an informed decision. My son and I visited a rescue yesterday in Pa. and will go back today so my wife can get a feel for it. Not in a hurry to make and decision that we or a bird will regret. Please feel free to ask any questions of me so I can learn more about the high's and low's of ownership. I will post more about our lifestyle and activities when i have some more time.
