new member - milo and shaun

hello everyone ,i am the owner of a african grey called shaun and a blue crowned conure called milo.they are great birds and i have had lots of great times with them. i bought milo from a private seller who said he was three ,that was about 4 years ago but i think he is a lot older is there a way to tell his age he also has a slip ring on his foot how do you read these things is there a site to put ring details in and get results .

is any of the numbers on there turned sideways. can we see pics. i know most the times if there are numbers on the ban in they are turned sideways thats the year on there hatch date

Those little bands are hard to read. As far as age, that's a tough one. Maybe some others can help. Anyway, welcome to the forum. Love to see pics when you get around to it.

Welcome to the forum. It is really hard to tell age. But I must say being the owner of a blue crown and an african grey myself you have good taste in birds!!

Hi and welcome to the forum, Is the date of birth on the bands?? The one my amazon wore only had the breeders initials and number and sideways was the state abbreviation. Thats interesting Ima hafta look at my greys band now. Anyway....HI
