New GCC really aggressive towards husband, help

Our little Tiki hates my husband! He's not an "animal" person and relucantly agreed on getting a conure because its what my daughter and I wanted. He tried to be nice to tiki, but has a very short tolerance level towards him. If tiki starts getting aggressive, he will get very angry and I am sure tiki can sense that. I have informed him of how to react, etc, but to be honest my husband is a grumpy person with no patience. What do you suggest in terms of getting him and tiki to co-exist? Tiki will fly to him and hang out, but without fail, within 2 minutes, tiki will puff up all over and be very aggressive for no reason. Why do you think my husband have this effect on him and should we just keep tiki away from him... I don't think that's a good idea because tiki needs to socialize with everyone in the family, but I don't like seeing how tiki turns aggressive whenever he's with my husband. Note: we have only had tiki 2 weeks this Sunday and he's very lovable towards my daughter and I.
