Ok so im looking for a new cage for Fawx and was wondering if anyone could tell me if they have experience with this cage i was looking at or do they know were i can get one better. Double Macaw XL 8040FL Parrot Cage by A&E Cages Everything for Birds. Any help would be great i am in a hurry. Thank u ahead of time for your time on this matter.

Wow that is quite the cage. I don't have any macaw experience but hopefully people will come along that do:D

This is the one I have and it's awesome! Love it. My kids call it the gorilla cage. It's from Kings Cages
Superior Line SLT 6432 Extra Large Bird Cage 64” x 32" x 70"
Item Cost: $779.00

Wow the inside dimensions are even bigger. I think I like the kings cage better. Just my opinion, which doesn't count because I am too afraid of big beaks to ever need one:eek::D

those "big beaks" can be as gentle as a lamb with the right bird :)

My GW's don't hurt like that sharp as a razor Hahn's does :54::eek:

That is the exact cage that I have. But mine is white and I paid $300 for it from Parrot City when they closed. Its HUGE!!! But its great for my Amazon in 1/2 and my Ruby Mac in the other side. They mostly sleep in there and spend a few hours a day inside. Durring those times they seem to love it. Ruthie our Mac can spread her wings from every perch and has lots of space left.

I did decide to order a 3/4 thick sheet of acrylic so I don't have to worry about anyone loosing toes since Ruthie has only been here for 2 weeks. By the time that arrives I should be about ready to have them both in the cage at the same time with the acrylic divider to keep them separate..
