Hi Guys,
I rescued Bop about four weeks ago. He is a 28yo Military Macaw. I am having an issue with him when I let him out of his cage so I can clean it. He plays around okay when he is out, but then I have problems getting him back in his cage. Food worked at first, but now he has caught on. Today, he would attack my feet if they got close to him on the floor. I am working with clicker training and he takes his treats from a spoon for me. He only has one eye and I believe has depth perception issues. I can get him to step up on a perch, but it is not consistent. Any ideas on more consistent ways to get him back in cage?
