Hey guys!

I'm looking to get a cage for Parker to keep at my moms house when we go for overnight visits, or possibly when she parrot sits for a few days. I could really use either recommendations or guidance as to what to look for and what to avoid regarding materials.

Key thing here is this cage will be rarely used so I'm absolutely not looking to spend King Cage king of money. $200 at absolute most, but would prefer $100-150.

eBay seems replete with what I'm looking for but I feel like something might be very bad (materials?) that I should avoid. Just don't know. Parrot Cage | eBay

This is important because I'll actually be going overnight next weekend so I need to get this ordered ASAP.

Thank you!

Venus and Buddy have a cage similar to the link I pasted. Each has their own cage. Venus is all over her's inside and out, and I have loaded them in my truck and taken them to my parents' for sitting. My parent's like the size because these are not humongous cages but give them enough room in their home and they like the easy access doors. Especially Buddy's, lol. Both fids have their own travel cage and ride in the back seat of the truck but those are not large enough to use as sleeping cages. The cages roll and make taking them easy. I got mine off Amazon, and assembly was easy. I purchased an Allen wrench bit to use with my electric Ryobi screw driver, well worth it. So if your parents are OK having a cage stay at their home, and the size is ok, I can tell you my parents love it. Also the cost is well under $200. Here is a link to the cages I purchased: New Large Double Ladders Open Play Top Wrought Iron Bird Parrot Parttot Finch Macaw Cockatoo Cage, Include Seed Guard and Toy Hook, *Black Hammertone* https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D9XPU9G/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_uYQpwbB97AN31.

Very pleased with them, they clean up well and I love the number of trays and stainless cups. All edges were smooth, I didn't have to correct any "imperfections" that could have injured them, I didn't find any, all screws nuts, bolts came with, all lined up, no dents etc. Best of luck on your search!

Thanks a lot Tracey! You've confirmed a few things for me. Just need to convince my mom these aren't too big. I showed her some similar caged and she had a small fit. I think she was expecting maybe a 1.5x1.5 cage for a conure or something.
