Jack, my 3 yro, rescue QP is getting better at socialization but still learning to trust me. He loves his toys so I was thinking of buying a playground stand from chewy.com about $70. This way he could come out, have some freedom and get use to me being closer. However, these playgrounds are big and I only have room for one so I would have to make his cage a sleeping cage and move to a different room. Or I could just get a T stand and that just has cups on it and no room for ladders and toys. Thanks

Just brainstorming here...

*Many members custom build play areas to suit their space/decor needs. If you're handy, there are some threads.
*Could a play area go on top of the cage?
*You can hang/add some toys to even a humble t-stand.
*Is there another area where a playstand could go?

Let's see what others think.

Good for you, for working hard to make sure your darling has a great environment!

There are some parrotpeople who just screw things to the wall if there is not much floorspace.

I got my playstand/javatree-thingy from someone who did just that, so instead of it standing on a tabletop...mine is hanging on the wall.
It's brilliant! The parrots love it.

Just like branches on a plaque ;)
(instead of a rack of antlers)

(I did have to make a shelve underneath to catch the "happy little accidents", because it is right above my tv)

(will see if I can find a picture later ... tomorrow, it's about half an hour to midnight overhere)
