If you are live in my neck of the woods, be safe today. The heat is supposed to reach well in to the 100's. Heard 127 in places like Death Valley, 118 in parts of Arizona and in California.

Be safe out there, know your limitations, stay hydrated. Otherwise have a great day!:D

whew, that's hot!
I live in Ontario Canada, and just the other day it was 93 degrees, and with the humidex it was over 100.

when we were in Las Vegas, it was 106 degrees, and you literally had to run from hotel to hotel, store to store it was so incredibly hot!!

Your air conditioner must be running over time, stay cool, be safe :)

Can't believe it even reaches those highs in countries!

We're in for a 'scorcher' when it's like 26degrees. (78Fahrenheit)

^^totally true ahaha... It's been warm with us in norwich(uk) reached a least 24c today.

Supposed to go downhill from here :p

What I would give to live in a 'warm' country!

It was HOT HOT HOT in furnace valley death valley! Like 127! During dinner my step dad mentioned how those deadly hot dry areas are very popular tourist spots of people from Germany and such. They are just astounded by not just the heat, but the DRY heat.

Here in San Jose it's been in the upper 90's, although south San Jose were I am got to 100 yesterday. In Morgan hill, 15 minute drive south, it was 108 today. My room was in the upper 80's yesterday as the day carried on. I had my ceiling fan on high, and another tall fan that I brought into my room to keep the air circulating really good. In my experiences with heat I've found air circulation and a occasional misting help massively. .

One year, when I was in high school before I had birds, it was 115!!!! And the night time lows were 90's! I hope that never happens again.

Since I'm on Long Island NY , the water that surrounds is keeps us cool in the summer and warm in the winter . The highest it got so far was 82 degrees f.

Lucky! Yesterday I went to Halfmoon bay for a bit to visit my grand parents, and my sister didn't want to go to the beach alone. It was in the upper 70's there and super nice, rarely gets hot there D:

Perfect day for the beach, but no one goes past their knees since the under tow is crazy strong here, and it's actually a tide pool beach so go to far and you'll start stepping on who knows what and hit rocks.

Ritz Carlton down the street from my grand parents house. This pic is taken from the same spot as the above photo

In Death Valley they interviewed this man (a runner) that said that his shoes started to melt. He then said that's when he got concerned.

D: I believe that! My question is why was he even running! LOL

He said that he runs in that kind of heat all the time. Not the shoe melting kind though.. LOL

I have family in the Tucson, AZ area and I remember in childhood, my first trip there, we had a stretch of 100-114 temps for days. I LOVED IT!!! I was in heaven. But yeah, at this point in life, I'll take sunny, clear and 80 with an ocean breeze, thanks.

It gets boring , with just a 20 to 90 degrees f. Temperature range the whole year . We rarely get good snowstorms , except last year with Sandys Nor' Easter . It's TOO breezy here too , just imagine sandy with an added ocean breezes and land breezes . But I guess we're lucky .
