Nanday Conure Question

Hello!
My son had been asking for one of these pretty little Nandays for over a year when I finally broke down and bought him one for his birthday. It is precious, but we have a little problem. She is in love with my husband. At first she would rub her head against his cheek and give him smooches at we all thought it was SO cute! But now it has escalated to her growling/grunting and trying to bite me whenever I get near him. Of course my husband is in love too so he carries her around everywhere. Any help on training and behavior would be appreciated. :20:

Do you handle her at all yourself? That would be my suggestion. When he is out of the house, see if you can handle her and possibly take over some of the positive things in her life for example... giving treats, reward for training etc. Show her that your presence and touch is a good thing. Once that is working well then try splitting time where when he has her, he puts her back and you pick her up and do some things with her while he's around.
