This recently only came up to be a problem, and this should have been dealt with sooner.

I've owned my GCC for 2 years now, and he's never gotten his beak trimmed or nails trimmed. The beak part isn't a problem, he gnaws on a lot of stuff and his beak looks fine. His nails are the big issue. They've never caused any problems for him, but he's beginning to get caught in some fabric, and because birds are birds he'll panic a bit.

I'm getting worried that he'll hurt himself, I just need to find an area to cut his nails or even better how to cut his nails.

Depending on the growth rate of your Parrots nails as compared to the rate in which your Parrot wears them away is the determination of how often they need to be trimmed. Clearly, if your Parrot's nails are catching on fabric its time to get them trimmed.

Beaks are a totally different schedules with most Parrots never needing a trim, while others may require regular trimming. Healthy active Parrots rarely need beak trimming, where as a Parrot with an underling health problem(s) may need very regular trimming. Point being, Beak trimming should be schedule and handled only by your Avail Professional. Thus, your Avian Professional can track Beak Trimming and offer testing if needed. Also, there is a nerve bundle at the base of the Beak and overly trimming of the Beak can cause problems, like stop eating and drinking or worst.

Although, an individual with minimum training can clip toe tails, I do not recommend it. If an error occurs, your Avian Professional's clinic is equipped to provide additional support. And, its just better to be the savior of your dear Parrot from those mean Vet Humans!!!

I'm more than able to trim my Amazon's nails, but I would rather have him hate-on our Vet Tech then on me!!!
