Hi everyone!
This is my first post, hope you guys can help me out. :51:
I own two lovebirds.
Rocky has always been at the top of the pecking order. Paapi below or equal too him.
The last few days Iāve noticed both of them rubbing their beak on the cage bars and chewing them as if wanting to go out of their cage.
I give them plenty of cage time already nearly every day 3+ hours.
It seems as if their pecking order has switched around, only is Paapi more aggressive and more of a bully than Rocky can be.
Paapi chases Rocky away from toys, food etc.
To me it sounded like their cage was getting boring, so I put more toys in their cage today.
They play more but I still see Paapi being jeleous and wanting toys for himself.
What else can I do?
Do you experience pecking order switches in your flock too?
Looking forward to talking with all of you!
