My homemade cargo net

Wow Blackhawk this is great. Thats the one thing I dont have for my birds . When im looking for things to add to my room .Im always thinking can my Macaw fit on this? It was nice to see your actual birds on it so you can really see how big it is. BTW you look like you have a nice relationship with your birds :)

Looks great Blackhawks:)... The rescue did have one of these but it ended up going missing the birds loved it so it kinda is a shame. Your birds really seem to enjoy it to:)

Perhaps this would be a good excuse to do something nice for the birds at the rescue? Maybe find someone willing to donate some rope, and make them a new one since they really enjoyed it? It is a shame someone would steal something from a bird rescue, or any charitable cause for that matter!

Blackhawk- They really seem to like it! I didn't realize how large it was until I saw the videos, you really put a lot of time into that! You have some very lucky birds:D

And thanks for the video explanation of the knots. I certainly won't be making one that large, but I definitely want to try making Kiwi a smaller one now. My only concern is Kiwi LOVES untying knots, so we will see if a climbing suffice made of knots poses too much of a temptation to be safe.... I also never allow Kiwi out without constant supervision.

Awesome awesome videos!!! Teka is SO cute and SO gorgeous!!! I loved how he wanted to feed you at the end. :)

And I LOVE your idea of the vetwrap around the Java Tree. I must give that a try ASAP before Ripley and Niko destroy the rest of the branches.

Ruthie looks SO very happy and relaxed. She is STUNNING!!!

You and J Marie have built a PARRODISE for your fids! Fantastic!! :D

I'm not sure if someone stole it. We had a flood and it was a mess we had to take down a lot of stuff and that was something and it got "lost" or ruined I hope. Yes I really hope someone didn't steal it ether because that is low. If we do anything we will buy one for the birds, unless someone wants to donated the rope I suppose I could be bored to death:p, o well is for the birds so I'd do it:)

I do nice things everyday for them but I could just add this to the list

THANK YOU!! :D The video is super helpful! Cute kitty by the way. :p Sorry if I missed it, but how much total rope (estimate) did you use?

I ordered a 325 foot spool of that size. I used about 314 feet of it. Plan carefully!

THANK YOU!! :D The video is super helpful! Cute kitty by the way.

Did you catch that there were actually 2 cats in the video? Alvin walked in at the 3 min mark and Simon was 30 seconds later.

Haha no. :p But I see now! I have a calico here. :)

I'm still debating on how big Bella and Zora's net is going to be, I'm thinking 4' by 4', hung on top of their cage. Oliver's is going to be a teeny (he doesn't like his things too big or else he never uses it) 3' by 2' horizontal hammock-net type ting. ;) I've been planning to do this for a while now, but I never really looked everything up until now, thanks to getting inspiration from you, lol.
