My Big Macs and I :)))

Oh wow Stephen, what a shock to learn your girl is a boy! Despicable if the breeder knew all along! Still... absolutely gorgeous birds!! :)

Just curious, can I ask what made you confirm the gender?

Hey you! Long time no speak! Well, when I picked "her" up, I asked for the gender certificate. I noticed both breeders stumbled over their words in response. They said they didn't have it. So, I asked who they did the DNA through so I could call them. They didn't have an answer for me.

Later the day one of the breeders called me and told me they have their own way of sexing. They used a pendulum to determine sex. Yes, a swinging pendulum. She told me it was right 99% of the time.

I talked to my vet and they did the DNA for me. And we found out I have a boy.

Good seeing you again too :)! A pendulum?!?! You're kidding, right? Smh. "Hey, what should we tell Stephen, we have to tell him something now" "Give him the pendulum story!" Haha 99% of the time... I'm sorry you were the 1%, even though you love your Ali :). Of course they figure the customer is in love with their bird anyway, but that's not the point.. how dishonest!. Stop by more often, we miss you!

Hey you guys!!!!!! I'm so happy you and your family are doing well. I was thinking of you the other day..I was talking about the video you posted the day you were in the gym free flying.
Life takes us away from things sometimes...don't stay away to long...we miss you

I appreciate that. I am definitely going to be here more. I miss yall too! I always tell people that I learned everything that I know from this place. I am still flying in the gym. Kyleigh loves it. Ali will have his first shot at it this weekend. We will see how that goes lol.

I was so shocked when they told me that. I had never heard of that in my life. I am sure they have 100s of bird owners just like me with the wrong gender. Once a male lays an egg..I am sure theyll know the truth lol. I fell in love with pretty fast though. He fits in so well with our family.
