Absolutely NOT !! Not in this lifetime anyway , lolol. It was a huge decision to keep this guy...but , we made it work
He is a pure joy to be around and he and Stella will "talk" to one another when I take him downstairs to feed him. He gives her a "shout out" every time we pass the room she is in , lolol. They enjoy each others company when outside on their perches too. Everytime we talk to him , he will answer us , lolol.
Of course its all "baby talk" , but its adorable
I can't imagine not having him now.

I would gladly set her up with one but they have a cat who is very, very, attracted to anything that moves , so that won't work
But , I told her she could name one of my Budgies Doodlebop :roll eyes:

Ok , I think we may have a name , but it's not official yet....
I asked him if he liked to be called Ringo and he made a lot of funny noises.
I asked him if he liked to be called Rio , nothing....

So , I will do the same tomorrow , if I have the same result , it will be "Ringo".
Whew , I'm so glad that will be over with , lol. Poor thing was most likely going to think his name was "baby"..lol

Well folks , not one name has fit my Catalina Macaw boy better then "Baby".
We have come up with quite a few , but even with all those , nothing has fit this little boy better then Baby. I can't tell you how long I have agonized over picking just the right name for him ! To me , names need to really fit the animal and roll of the tongue if you will. Every time we would speak to him , we called him Baby and he reacts to it .
So , why change it , lolol.
I just hope he doesn't hold this against me when he gets older....

My baby eclectus has two names... Papi and Paulie... Papi was the first one that came into my head, after I got him, but I had a lot of negative feedback (not from here) on that name, so I called him Paulie instead... I use both names...
