More new stuff for chili

Alright, last update for a while I think- lol

Yesterday while we were at Home Depot getting hardware for bird projects, I picked up a few bird-safe plants!

Checking out dad's handy work

I love my new planter pot! The birds are metallic


And a spider plant for the budgies


Chili's corner


And made some new window perches


And a new toy (peek a boo!)

So lovely! I absolutely love this flower pot with birds! How does she know not to fly into the window?
Why do you have the "fence" around her cage? Is it because of dogs?

This is the only window I keep the blinds up on, but the window perches she knows are attached to something and she'll fly from her cage to the window perch and back..and when she's flying around the room -she'll usually land on the limb that extends from her cage. All the other windows I keep the blinds down on just in case...

Isn't the planter cool??? I loved how it has the little birds [emoji4]

The fence/baby gate is to keep my 2 year old out of her area...lol

I want to get more plants at some point, and maybe get duplicates so I can rotate them out -mr yucca plant seems to be her favorite so far lol

I should've told that to the lady at the pet store yesterday- I was buying dry foods that I see as necessary items and she said my birds must be spoiled!! LOL nope- they're just "much loved" [emoji4]

Good to hear! You could also look into putting some hooks in the ceiling (anchored to joists) so you can hang some from the ceiling! That's on my to-do list, just haven't gotten there- I need more plants! Lol

Poor Mr Yucca seems to be Chili's favorite at the moment lol I've moved him up to the top holder and put Miss Jade in the center- her turn for a haircut!! Haha


The window perches are not working how I'd like them to, so I'll be re-building them today.
