I am absolutely convinced that Mishka knows exactly what he is saying

Earlier this morning

Mishka - Mommy I want?
Mommy - Mishka what do you want?
Mishka - I want cold water in my bowl
Mommy - Why do you want it in your bowl Mishka?
Mishka - I want to drink cold water

Mishka... You are The Best!! :)

Your newly Gender Changed, Friend Codie says, you are awesome and one day he hopes to have your talking ability ;)

If you have an apple or android phone download the sleep talk app.
It only records when there's a sound made and you can skip through the day hearing each noise

AAAAWW, Mishka, you NEVER seize to amaze me. :D

You are SUCH a clever boy who has SUCH a handsome boyfriend. :54:

My Grey (Bleu) also totally knows what he's saying. He's nine years old and didn't really start talking until he was 18 months old. Now, he has an amazing vocabulary, that changes daily. I was discussing with my husband and godfather how Bleu really is VERY dusty lately, that he hasn't been bathing on his own so I'm going to have to start forcing showers on him, regardless if he enjoys them or not (he's one of those Greys that HATES getting wet AT ALL, growling the entire time, and holding a grudge for days). Immediately after that conversation, he went to the back of his cage, and uncharacteristically nipped at me when I tried to remove him. Clearly he knew our conversation was about HIM. The next three days in a row, he dutifully took a bath in his water bowl by HIMSELF, muttering, "hate showers, hate showers, hate showers!" We all were in awe and giggled ourselves silly. Oh, and he's a LOT less dusty now.

I have been bringing my Grey in to listen to Mishka's videos. He's now started saying, "cook poop" now. Thanks. :)

I love Mishka ! This is the arguement between me and Marshmallow yesterday as I was trying to do my homework and she wanted to play.
Me: go back to your cage
MM: NO step up
Me: go back to your cage
MM: NO step up
this went on for about 5 minutes before mom came and took Marshy to her room to play. Marshy doesnt like homework any more than I do.

I've said it before-- Mishka talks more sensibly than most people I know-- and he's a lot smarter too! :)

LOL! I agree with that 100%! Every time I watch one of the videos I think to myself "This bird speaks better than most humans I deal with on a daily basis!" And then there's the times I compare my Sun to humans. When I hand my Sun a treat and he says "Thank you" While he may not understand what "thank you" means he at least says it unlike the majority of people! Even if you don't mean it you should say it for the sake of not being rude!

I was at work today and asked a customer "Hi, how are you today?" and I got a grunt and later on a different customer gave me a blank stare after I asked them. Really? Really??? I always think how I'd rather be deal with the birds than these rude people. At least the birds would talk back to me...
