Mishka cousin is coming to visit

Sounds good. I'm the type of guy who wants at least 4 or 5 birds. But that's going to have to wait until after I finish high school, graduate college, get a job, and get my own house. LOL Seems like a long way but i'm just gonna relax, enjoy my summer with my flock, and think about the present :)

I heard it said and I am sure you have too that when there is another bird with an only bird they are more into eachother and not so much into the guardian who is you. She is like a bird in the wild now wanting to interact with the other bird. Is this correct? You will get her back when he leaves.

I think Spiritbird is right, Mishka is just love smitten:). I hope when Zazo leaves you will get your little chatterbox back, I can understand how you would miss this. We will miss reading stories about Zazo when he leaves.

Or he'll get back home and say, "I want to go to Auntie's...now!", "I need a shower!", and "I want a kiss from Mishka!" :D It will be interesting to see what he says and does when he goes back home; you've introduced him to some exciting new things.

At our place, he got an abundance of attention. They are going to have it tough, once his adventure is over.

Usually at night, at his home, he is still on top of his cage
At night here, after playing on the playpen for 3 hours, I struggle to get him off.
He is going to wonder where it is

This morning I stole Mishka for 20 minutes.
I took her into my office, before working hours this morning :p

Mishka rocked and rolled and ranted and tweeted !!!!! :grey:

I have never ever seen her so excited, she pooped about 7 times LoL. :D
Mishka started talking ten to a dozen, I swear she even stuttered

This is what I miss, my Mishka just being Mishka ;)

Awwww, that's so cute. At least you got your Mishka back! How much longer does Zazo stay?

Want to know something, I was in tears when Mishka started talking :(
It was like music to my ears :D

He goes back home probably Friday or Saturday, I am going to miss the little bugger :31: :grey:

Me too, I'm going to miss the stories of Mishka and Zazo. Hopefully he'll return again :)

What about me, LoL I will not have much to report daily :(

As much as I love Zazo, I would prefer a bird, who would stimulate Mishka.
Picture two birds chatting away, whistling and playing together.
I must admit, Mishka is a live wire, 24/7, I could not imagine having two Mishka's

So the story about the cousins is about to end !!!!!! Zazo is going home tomorrow.

Today was a rather tiring and disturbing day, for all I might add.
Zazo sat the entire day making an irritating sound ..... like a peep, and I mean the whole day long. He started at 9am and carried on until 5pm. The sound was an ear piercing electrical peep. We tried everything to distract him, sat with him, whistled, chatted, played, you name it we tried it. The Cd's whistling tunes one, worked for about 5 minutes, then back to the to the beep. Thank god Mishka has not started making the peep sound, (pray she does not start) She sat staring at him the entire
time, not saying a single word.
I telephoned Nikki, to tell her what is happening with Zazo. I mentioned the beep sound, she said OH NO has he started that sound again........ Nikki said it's the sound of their intercom at home, and said it is the most irritating sound ever.
Working was difficult, even trying to answer to phone, with that beep sound.

My nephew is taking Zazo home tomorrow, he returned home today from vacation, thank goodness.

All I want is Mishka to be herself again, and start clowning around, playing, and being the chatterbox she normally is. :grey:
We have had some great and wonderful moments. :D
Lots of pic's, video's and recordings of the two cousins adventure. ;)
Zazo I love you big boy, but it's time to go home.

Sounds like what I have said to a few of my dates. LolX3

The sound was an ear piercing electrical peep.

I can sympathise with you on that 1, Shadow did the same thing after the smoke dectector in the back room was indicating the battery needed changing. I tested all the detectors in the house before I realised it was her..... thank God she didn't keep it going.

Enjoy re-bonding with Mishka and thank you for the fantastic stories, I think everyone loved them :grey:

Ahhhh, the one annoying sound your bird learns, everybody goes through that, LOL

Thank goodness I learnt quickly, when Mishka started with the annoying sounds, I let her know I did not like it. I reprimanded her, saying no no, in a stern voice and showed her my closed fist above her head. It always works.
When doing something "not nice" anytime now, and she sees my fist, she now lowers her head, and says sorry. :)

Do you think if I tried that with my teenage daughter she'd do the same thing??

It worked with my two sons :) when they were little toddlers
Being 20 and 18 years old now, I certainly would not attempt it now
