Minzer,

I thought about you today when my boss's boss said to me, "Parrots aren't dangerous"

This instantly drew an image in my mind of you being attacked by Iggy in wearing your oven mitt, which casued me to break out into laughing fit that lasted about 2 minutes ... Later on in the conversation he admitted to me that he had actually been attacked by a CAG and he knew why I was laughing ...

~ :50:

Haha, thanks Tex...I'm glad someone gets amusement from my pain and anguish! Figures it's you. :p Tomorrow is Iggy's endoscopy/laproscopy/biopsy...hopefully we can figure out why I'm being attacked on a daily basis. But in the meantime, enjoy :D

On a nice note, I was able to clip his wings and shower him today, AND walk away with complete fingers instead of "bloody stumps"

Sounds like you are making head way with him ... I hope that all goes well tomorrow ... I hope they find something otherwise you just have a satanic bird ... either that or it's just mating season ...

mating season is supposed to be OVER!! So if there's nothing wrong, hopefully I can give him that memo. But I'll be on as soon as I get home from school to let anyone who cares know what happened. :)

I hope that you saw my post in the other thread ... about birdies passing ... I have FORBADE that from happening anymore ... make SURE IGGY GETS THAT MEMO!!

Please let us know as soon as possible ... :47:

you guys are funny. And so much personality GOD! you guys are like parrots... :D taking after your own pets i see.

I'm really worried about tomorrow...but I can't let him see that. I don't know what I would do if something happened, as much as he drives me nuts and makes me bleed. Please just keep your fingers crossed (and I'll give him your memo)...

sending a bunch of happy thoughts and warm wishes south about an hour!!!

I know I'm late, but hey we ALL care so you'd better keep us informed. :D

WOW a clip and a shower and still come out with everyone of your fingers, see he's getting better already. Either that or he's heard about the Endoscopy/etc.

Over in the UK, we have fingers and toes crossed. Let us know the minute you get back. :smile046: :smile046: :smile046:

Good luck Iggy, and after your all better we are all going to get together and have a Parrot Party... Peta get your plane tickets ready.... hmmm, with as many birds you have, you could have your own plane. Oh and make sure all the fids get window seats lol :D

Minzer, I hope everything is going all right today. We are keeping our fingers crossed for you and hoping this will help Iggy's attitude.

In all seriousness, isn't it nice to know that you aren't going through this alone ... we are all here for you, and we are all as "antsy" as you are right now ... and we all want the same outcome for Iggy! :)

I think that's the worst part, dropping them off. When Sisqo was hospitalized for a few days, I was a mess.

I called the boarding place yesterday b/c we're going out of town in a few weeks, and I was already getting sad just thinking about dropping them off there.

Well, Iggy is home and alive and in one piece (although he's missing some pieces of his organs...biopsy)

They did endoscopy and laproscopy and biopsy and radiographs...they didn't find ANYTHING except for one kidney being slightly larger than the other...they did biopsies on his liver, kidney, and lungs, so that's all that we're waiting for now to see if there's anything microscopic going on...

I'm very glad that he's ok, but still left with the question as to why he is so mucousy and whatnot...the Doctor suggested that it may be allergies that we could put him on Benadryl for, which is fine, except for the fact that I asked him if it could be allergies FIVE MONTHS AGO to which was replied (by the very same doctor) "Oh, no, this couldn't be allergies"

But thank you SO MUCH to everyone, you're right Tex, it made all of this more bearable to have all of you in our corner, cheering Iggy and me on...I'll let you know the biopsy results when I do (hopefully in the next couple of days).
