I nearly had a heart attack ....merry flys very very well.

Hahaha and wasn't see in quarentine ?
Least he knows now or atleast I hope he knows we all know how men can be with their selective hearing ;)

I'm sorry I was away this week and missed all this Barbara.

I'm SO glad Merry if feeling cheerier - I was so worried at the start of the thread!

You do such a brilliant job with your fids, it's inspiring x

Yeah ...so much for separating conures and keets for a while. Actually he hasn't learned about that ...quarantine, I mean, for he thinks it silly. But he was shook too when he realized Merry could have flown off at anytime over the nearly 40 minutes he was sitting out there before I got home.He says if it nice today he will take Merry out in her cage. I won't clip a keet because they are so light they go airborne easily even clipped and frankly Merry likes to fly and does it well since she has been unclipped her whole life

Well, a final note. Misha let Teechka into Merry's cage and apparently they are just fine. Misha says they are chattering, sharing the food bowls and worked together to spead cherry all over the place. (I can never figure out how such tiny birds can make such a huge mess in such a short time.)

So final tally, hours of quarantine...maybe six
number of birds...back to four (not counting ducks)
days post Skye left us, ten
years of marriage 20 ... so I guess I will not murder him.
total: One very happy little green bird named Merry.

We have enjoyed your bird life through this thread. Somehow the birds seem to work it all out in the end as we observe. Good job as usual.
