wow tab!!! you and all your boys must've been very good this year!!! those halters look amazing with the engravings! and I love the mac shirt!! makes me want one with galahs haha
Ah sorry! Have been out all day birthday shopping.. I am absolutely exhausted now, my head is aching I can't handle massive crowds, everyone is out shopping getting all the sales and specials ! haha
Thank you both Love my jacket!!!
Mum says i look like i have lost weight and looking very skinny But i have actually gained weight this year because of all the riding, got all strong and muscley
Was at the horse shop today, mum wanted to buy me these new boots and gaiter thingies, for jumping, so my feet and legs can move more rather than the top boots..
But cause my feet are massive, got the boots on which were tight , then cause my boots are big, the gaitors didn't fit at the ankle part
But then next size up were too big cause apparently i have skinny calves.. hahahaha
So sat there for ages trying to zip them up!
So now, have my dressage outfit, showjumping outfit, and cross country outfit with my protector vest thingy...
All ready for the show season to start up!
Haven't got good bridle for Kyros though, but we have 300 dollars just in points because of how much we spend there hahaha
So can't decide whether to get nice leather dressage bridle...
Or jumping/cross country one..
Cause nice show one can be used for dressage and jumping...
Or get the special jumping one which would be used for jumping and cross country..
Thinking of just getting the show one.. So will be good for dressage and jumping competitions..
Cause won't be doing cross country until he has done lots of jumping shows anyway.. :20:
I couldn't believe the price of browbands Absolutely insane.. The browbands cost more than the bridles!!!
I'd personally get the show bridle, so you could use it for dressage AND jumping. Once you start cross country, you can always go back and get that one.
You sound a wee bit confused...and exhausted, HAHAHHA. I know what you mean about "crowds", I don't do well in them either.
What about the Schockemoehle wraps??? Do they fit??????
Browbands are ridiculously overpriced, especially when you consider they're not technically necessary! My sister and I used to make a few dollars braiding ribbon ones in Pony Club colours. If I were a Pony Clubber today, I'd want my $80 browband showing, not covered up with silly ribbons. LOL!
I would always go for the dressage bridle because it matters more to the horse in the competition than a jumping rig does. At your level of competition, you really only need a nice thick snaffle or pelham. I wouldn't fluff with bit-and-bridoons until I absolutely had to, would you? I hate the rotten things: too often, you see a good horse ruined by heavy-handed yobbos. Anyway, I'm glad you've got all your show kit sorted - it must feel great! Looking forward to this year's season - I wish I could come up and barrack for you from the sidelines!
PS. Your birthday is the same as my Mum's - only she was born 1/1/22 - she'll be 92 tomorrow.
Three ladies and mum all showing different bridles and styles Lady saying- choose this one cause they use this for cross country
and im like well not doing cross country yet
then other ladies like, well can use just for jumping....
then other lady like, well this is one for dressage, and can use for jumping.. oohhh look at the pretty browband!!!
So i said- too much pressure.. just leave it... Will come back in a month and choose
But Kyros is in warmblood size So all of the nice leather ones are in full size, so have to order in bigger size...
