Merlin was playing with one of her little wood blocks in the bottom of her cage, and my cat, Sadie, decided that would be a lot of fun to play with it with her. Merlin didn't think so, apparently. This is the first time I heard her growl, lol! It worked though. Sadie sat down and watched her for a moment, then laid down and took a nap. So far Merlin has been entirely too nice to that cat, giving her kisses. But, I guess her toys are her toys!

Haha, love it! :D

That's funny! The cats are getting better with Tico but I'm curious to see what's going to happen when Jasper comes home and gets to meet them.

It is an easy way to tell when a grey is mad or upset - just listen for the grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

It scared me at first, lol! The only other time she did, it was a very low growl at the vet as she was coming out of that first seizure. So my first thought was she was about to have another one. The vet and I were standing there looking at her and I said, "Oh, wow, I've never heard her make a sound like that." And the vet said it was a little AG growl. The one yesterday she made to warn the cat was significantly louder. But, it definitely worked, Sadie said, ok, keep it! And Merlin went back to playing.

Goose & Kiwi both say, "Go MERLIN!"

OK, it was just Goose & all he said was "MERLIN!" and sometimes, he just says "MER!"

But after a couple months of silence on her whereabouts, he now yells her name when he gets excited (or needs to blame someone for something he did).

Well, Merlin is the all powerful wizard of Ohio, lol!
