Meeting Other Parronts

Yesterday when Venus and I finished at the vets, the road going home was really backed up so we took a trip to a store I love to visit, lately I've been looking for art with birds. The weather was mild but I refuse to leave any creature in a car so I took Venus into the shop with me and set her travel cage on top of a cart. First she was so quiet no one really noticed her, second I caught her trying to pick the lock to get out. I failed her plan resetting the lock, lol.

One employee there saw her and visited with us. She has an 11 yo African Grey named Toto. He sounds amazing, he has a vocabulary of about 1300 words and makes sentences. Just another amazing tale of a very loved family member, lol. Venus was a superstar and very welcomed in the store. I will take her with me again to shop, she was so well behaved.

This forum is great. One bird went for dinner a few weeks back and another likes to take his to the beach! We may get Braxy the back pack so he can go for walks with us this summer....crazy bird parents, I do love the baby stroller for dogs that I'll eventually convert for Braxy(when my aunt's toy poodles pass)!
