Parrots
two Lovebirds, Weenie and Luna
Weenie and Luna are unique characters. They were rescued from their previous home that burned down in a forest fire (fort Mcmurray fire). They suffered some burns and they were rehabilitated and put up for adoption. Their previous owner who surrendered them said that they were both 3. I didn't know that they had the personality of a large parrot! Yeesh!

Day two
Their basic routine right now is:
Wake up
Make noise
Eat and drink
Make more noise
Climb all over the cage and play with toys (they aren't tame and their wings aren't clipped but when they are, outside cage time)
Eat and drink more
Throw food outside of the cage and play ( ! )
Time for the cage to go in the backyard while mama cleans the mess
More noise and play
Mama sprays them with water
Cuddle
Drink and eat a bit more
Preen each other cutely
Have some private cuddle time
Preen more
Sleep for a few minutes
Preen again
Sleep for the night now :)

They are so adorable I cant handle it! :green1::orange:

Awww, Weenie and Luna are gorgeous! I just added a lovebird to our flock who was a Ft. Mac Refugee, but she wasn't burned. I am so happy they have found a home with you!
They are so adorable, I really love Lovebirds:)

Weenie and Luna sure are lucky little things to be okay now, and safe with you. You found out Lovebirds are real parrots with big personalities :D! I've never had a Lovebird, but I think they're such an adorable species.

I just scared Weenie to death yikes. I accidentally woke him up while removing some leftover grape bits. Luckily his mate was there to give him a back massage :)
