I'm the proud new owner of 'Sunny' the Sun Conure. Not such an original name, but that was what he was called by the previous owner.

He's just about 2 years old and positively adorable. Very tame and affectionate. He loves to sit on my shoulder and "preen" my ear. Gosh! That tickles!

I have not even had him for 24 hours and he seems VERY much at home. <3

I hate to be the one to break this news and tell you that you have it backwards in your post. It should say 'Sunny' the Sun Conure is the proud new owner of Birdman. LOL.

It's wonderful that you two clicked right away like old friends. It means you were the one... always supposed to be with Sunny.
