Meet "skittles" !!! 5 months now!

HI All, I haven't been on here in FOREVER!! I just wanted to share some pics and stories of my macaw baby! we are having a blast with her... she is starting to turn into QUITE the character... me and the wife are easily able to pick her up now, and just last night she let me lay her on her back on her blanket!! it was hilarious.... she just sat ther on her back with her feet up like a little baby... ha ha ha... still handfeeding, but very minimal. she is down to a little under 60cc every night before bedtime. she loves water! Saturday I rolled her cage out to clean the bottom with the hose and she was running under the stream!! unreal! doing good with chewing, however I have found some spots on the baseboard where she has snuck behind the chair to chomp! note to self: do not leave your bird unattended!! LOL. to anyone reading this... do not be afraid of the bad stories of owning a macaw! they are awesome to have in your home. I have had 0 training, and brought in a baby.... life lessons and stories forever....

Oooh what a beautiful bird!! So glad things are going good. I have a severe macaw and she is my world, I have so much fun with her. Keep the photos and stories coming.

When you actually take the time to socialize and play with them they are great birds...

I see your bird is giving you a head scratch in that first pic. (Mine does that to me all the time, too!)
