Hi guys..

I wanted to introduce you all to my new baby Rhiannon (Rhia for short). She joined our family yesterday. She is 10 - 12 weeks old (only just old enough to be rehomed so not exactly sure of age). She has been DNA sexed so I know she is a girl.

Apparently she is an aviary bird but im wondering cos she is such a cuddly wee thing. My niece is holding her in this pic which was taken within hours of her coming home.

I love my new girl... :blue2:

Welcome and be welcomed. IRN'S are so beautifully colored. Great that she is so tame, keep up the handling coz they can go Bach to wild state quickly.

Thanks. My goal is to handle her several times a day and we also have an aviator harness on its way for her as I want to harness train her so she can come out with me, the teenagers and my friends when we go out walking or shopping etc.

What a darling!

I love her expression... she says "Yes, I am beautiful."

oh hey! I've actually seen her already on facebook (simplyparrots) definite cutie

Im a photographer by trade so this morning I decided to see if she would sit in what is called a light tent (square opaque box that you can use to photograph small objects and in this case small living things).

She wasnt to fond of the idea but we managed to get a few usable shots.
