Meet Periwinkle!

Meet my new lovie, Periwinkle!! Found him at a Pet Shop today, and I'm 90% certain he came from my friend's last clutch of birds, from the one I had to turn down at Christmas.
I'm so excited! He's my first birdy baby and I think he's gorgeous!

He is soooo cute! Is he a peach-faced mutation of some sort? I just love their expressive little faces. They look so intelligent and mischievous.

He is adorable! Lovebirds are great and so full of personality. I'm sure you're going to love having him in your family. I really miss my little lovie I had several years ago. She was a very special little bird.

He's sooo cute!! Great name for him too! Lovebirds are a lot of fun... I used to have several of them. About the black tips on the feathers... not sure, maybe you could google pics of mature lovebirds of that same species, to see.

I thought you guys would tell me what he's called, lol. I know he's a Peached Faced Lovebird, possibly either of the Dutch Blue (sea green) variety OR the White Faced (aqua) variety.
The Dutch Blue looks more like him when I google, but his head is yellowy, not peach... sooo... ???

edited to add: OK, more googling has led me to choose "Sea Green" as his mutation. I hope that's right!

He looks almost exactly like my Elbee, except Elbee has a yellow spot on the top of his head, almost like a skull cap, lol. Elbee is a Dutch Blue.

My camera washes him out, he does have the yellow cap. I was reading that the "Dutch Blue" name is obsolete now? From what I read, "Sea Green" is what most people are calling them these days.
