This seems to be a thing with birds, tell me your stories about where your bird managed to poop even though it doesn't seem physically possible or just in weird places.

Jacob seems to somehow fling his poop once in a while, I once found poop on the wall which is like 4 feet away from his cage and stand setup. Last night when I was cleaning up I noticed he pooped in his treat bowl which has a cover on it and I didn't see it open other than when he was grabbing a treat. One time he managed to poop directly under his stand where I don't put newspaper as it is directly under the stand where I thought he couldn't poop. Another time I found a piece of poop on the blinds which are about 2 feet away from his setup but the poop was high up. I've also seen poop on the wall which is about 1 foot from the back of the cage but the poop was higher than the cage was. Like how do these things even happen?

Some birds also have evil pooping powers. My mother had a pair of hahns macaws and they would wait to do their morning poop till my mom went and cleaned and setup their enclosure, it was kind of like a walk in closet but was all glass so my mom would have to walk in and go underneath them. Well every single morning they would try to poop on her head. Such evil little things.

I remember my mom having finches and they liked to launch poop by hanging on the bars of the cage so their butts are aiming out and would launch poop on the walls constantly.

Bindi (Sun conure) is my evil pooper. I hate cleaning her cage, as she mostly poops “out” the front of the cage which means that I have to clean poop off of every single bar on the front of her cage. I have 5 cages to clean - and hers takes as much time as all of the others combined....sigh. I have found her morning poops as far as two feet from the front of her cage on the floor. How can a 118g bird launch “the goods” that far????

Gonzo my BFA lives to projectile-poop from the side of his cage. Located in the family room, floor protected by 3 feet of painter's plastic. Naturally, the wall section at back of cage is safe as there is no fun facing a solid object.

Gabby the G2 often sits on my shoulder while surfing the web. I wear old "bird shirts" and am amazed how often he manages to poop in the pocket. That said, he is mostly potty trained gives notice by squirming a bit. Hold him over the trashcan and declare "Gabby go poo poo."

Enzo loves to hang out on top of my kitchen cupboards but has never pooped there, she doesnt poop in the kitchen at all as she always flies back to her cage for that. ....... however, she somehow managed to poop once on the ceiling, 12 inches above the units. Dont even ask, i havent a clue how she managed that one.
