So am I,great question i'd love to know the answer, I just tried to find some information on that, couldn't find anything on their evolution, either way, what ever the process was of their existence I'm so glad it went that way, well done nature cannot get enough of macaws ever since I was a little kid I always wanted to see them in the wild.peru, Amazon etc is a paradise.sadly a lots been damaged.I am always amazed by the white face.
What other animal has such clown white skin? and why?
And his face feathers are black like his beak and the feathers on his throat under the lower mandible.
Wonder if his whole face had black feathers at one time in the Blue and Golds evolution?
