Lovebird reguritating

Hi all, my lovebird (Mango) is 5 yrs old now and for the past year she has been reguritating daily. She specifically eats to regurgitate. Recently she has been pulling out new feathers that are not fully developed yet. The vet says she is not medically ill and has mentioned a special light for her and she is being fed a pellet food and fruits and vegs and spray millet as a treat. Her weight flucuates weekly by a couple grams up and down. Any ideas on what to do to stop her from constantly regurgitating would be appreciated. TIA Mangos mama.

My rescue did regurge to a toy and to me a lot when I first got her. But my vet said for my bird it was lack of affection and attention in her previous situation.

I've read some articles that increase in sexual behavior can be linked with boredom and lack of enough activity. So you can try more foraging, more flying if flighted. Switch up cage layout. Change out toys..

Great job on starting with a vet visit to rule out health issues.
