This afternoon has been relaxing and Cassie has been sitting on my shoulder dozey and cuddley. She is six years old, still wont talk very much but she's always been a lover. Wouldnt have it any other way. Just wanted to share some sweet lovable pictures of her. Sometimes when I pet her she ever so gently grooms my eyes back as I'm peting her.

Would love to see your loveble baby too. :)

Really cute! They can be so sweet at times.

Oh Senegals they will always have a place in my heart. My little girl was a love to me but evil to my mom. Kiwi was my little buddie she was so happy to just chill with me. I use to help her with her pin feathers. My conure is too much of a spazz to chill with me for very long or let me help with pin feathers.

My little Senegal is precious, she's so loveable and has never done anything I would even consider annoying. Not yet anyway, she's only 7 months old. Definitely the right bird for me, although in the future I might like to have a bird that is known to talk a little better.

I gotta ask, how loud are they? I know they're mostly quiet but some people say their screech is deafening (but some say that about budgies soo...)

Been looking at Senegals and Meyers recently but want an idea of what they're like

The only time Peanut is loud is when she yells at the other birds outside while doing it on my shoulder right in my ear. And that's kinda my fault because I started telling her they were bad birds and now every morning she likes to scream at the bad birds. But it's nothing that's going to bother the neighbors or anything. If I want to sleep in occasionally I can even sleep through her calling me from her cage. It's really not that loud at all.

Birdline UK Parrot Rescue - Birdline Parrot Re-homing

I've been smitten by this 6 year old Meyers who needs a home and they seem to be similar to Senny's. He seems to be a very well behaved bird, just doesn't like getting snuck up on and is a bit excitable when playing.

If he's still around when I am in a better position to bring a bird home then I think I'm gonna inquire about him and see if I can visit him. Luckily my neighbours had no issue with a Green cheek making noise so hopefully a Meyers is similar noise levels. I could never sleep through Rio's morning call on the weekends. Especially if I let him out. MY bedroom over-looks the living room where the cage is so he would fly up to a rope boing I had hanging from the skylight and shout at the ringnecks! Very noisy at 8AM when I'm hungover

Yeah if you're looking for a bird that won't disturb you when you have a hangover then the Senegal would be it lol. Peanut doesn't start calling in the morning until she hears someone get up to go to the bathroom or something. Then she only does it for a couple minutes here and there, but mostly entertains herself until I come get her. Meyers are in the same family so I would think they'd be similar.
