I wasn't really sure where to put this... but since it relates to Louie's passing... I'm just gonna go with it.
It's been tough going since Louie passed away. She died on November 16 last year, and I still burst out into tears randomly whenever something reminds me of her. Whether it's images or random habits of daily life that I would do with her (which was just about everything, I mean she followed me into the shower... haha). It's been better. And it'll get better. And I'm finally at the point where I am thinking about welcoming another feathered friend into my home. But the whole point of this is that I used to paint all the time when I was in high school and some college and then it just kind of stopped... I think life got bogged down with adulthood and responsibilities. But the day after she died I started painting again, kind of frenzied like. The first one I did was of her and the last picture I took of her. But anyways, I've been painting ever since, and I just wanted thank her birdy little spirit for giving me a little passion back in my life for the things I love, besides her spunky little self.
The first Painting I did after she passed away.
The one I'm currently working on.
