Parrots
A pair of cockatiels
And pair of African Greys
I have 1.3 years old female CAG, she is hand fed and she is adorable.
I am looking for another Grey to keep her company while I'm absent from home.
So today I went to see male CAG exactly the same age as mine. He looks good, on a healthy diet, does step up on his owner's hand. When I tried to touch him he bit my pretty hard.
So what do you think? Will it be a good idea to take him?

I'd be careful about bringing an opposite gender CAG in to keep yours company. You could end up with 2 hormonally frustrated and aggressive birds.

Why is that? I thought that they'll be happier and less bored when they are together

Quite the opposite, in a way. If the 2 birds end up liking eachother in the mating sense, they'll bond exclusively to eachother. When a bird is protecting its mate or nest, it becomes a monster.

Just keep them in different cages, and closely monitor out-of-cage time for the two. You really don't want 2 CAGs thinking they are mates, unless you plan to breed them and not have them stay as tame pets.
