My 2 GCCs LOVE THEIRS! I got the medium, and they both fit just fine in there. I also added a small manzanita branch and hung some toys from the top.
I was surprised at how many comments we would get from strangers, lol. "what is in your pack..is that a....BIRD?????? TWO birds???? you take them for WALKS?????" im sure they thought we were crazy bird people, lol.
AWESOME!! I have one for Sheldon too. He loves it. I like it because now I can include him in my walks. It's a costly number but it's so worth it. have fun!!
It was totally worth the money. I don't want to force him in it yet so we just spend 5 minutes every day exploring it by hiding treats in the cups for him to find. So far so good
Had our first "outing" today. Just down to the living room, but it was something! Kyo enjoyed watching tv with us (yes, he actually watched it) while staying safe from the monsters.
Hoping to bring him outside today when I get home from visiting my horse.
I was researching these carriers the other day - they look awesome! When I get another bird (end of the year, I hope), I will definitely be getting one of these!
Very excited for you to have one. Keep us posted on how Kyo likes it. I hope he has fun going outside today.
My BCC loves his backpack and we have great fun taking hikes and taking the dogs on walks with us. I did find that the bottom of the pack gets a bit messy so I purchased some fleece and cut it to fit the bottom. Now I just occasionally wash the fleece and the carrier stays nice and clean. Have fun with yours! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do. I have found it to be worth every penny.
I got the small size, steel mesh, side panels, no tail pouch. Kyo is really small (63 grams, but vet says she is okay) so she didn't need the extra tail space, but she is a chewer so I got the Steele mesh.
Thanks! I may wait til next year (or not, we'll see) but I'm thinking of getting one. I got a cheap £15 travel cage and although it;s not bad, it's a tad small and not great for carrying about
