OMG!!! :11: At first I couldn't believe it wasn't a photo! And a total of 6 hours ONLY?!! I kept saying "OMG! no way!!" out loud as I zoomed up close and it still looked like a photo!
AMAZING Liana... The hair, and the metal jewels on the last one really show an amazing level of talent there.
I "know" cats way better than I know birds and your drawing of Elvis is very realistic. He's a good looking boy, and his parents would be thrilled to have such a beautiful representation of him to remember him by. I think it's way more difficult to capture a real-life "person" (cat, bird, whoever) than it is to create from imagination, and your representation of Elvis is just gorgeous.
Hahaha Julie! Hehehe... I can see the miniscule flaws so easily! So it's GREAT to hear that others don't!
Awwww thank you *hugs*
Thank you strudel He certainly was. Awww thanks. Yeah it is MUCH more difficult... aww thanks again *purrs*
Ok! Here's an Acrylic painting I did a few days ago for my neighbour, Pat. She's been so helpful and concerned for my health recently, and now that she's moving I decided she needed a little something for being so caring. Her favourite colours are Blue, Purple and Pink. And one of her top favourite animals are 'Gold' horses... so I painted a 'Palomino Mare on the Hill' .
This is a painting i did a couple of nights ago for an incredibly sweet lovely lady at my Church who just turned 80 years old. And since she lost her beloved dog, Nikki recently, I decided to paint Nikki for her, and I used her favourite colours as well (crimson, black, mauve and blue). It's an 8" x 8" flat canvas.
To be honest I find this certain breed of dog quite unattractive, so I'm pretty darn pleased with how it turned out!
Awww thank you everyone! Honestly.. how many times am I going to have to thank you!?!
She is STILL absolutely over the moon about that portrait... Nikki was a Maltese.
Finished another Pet Portrait the other week, got paid for it too! Muhahaha!
Meet the now passed, Reg:
Also, since I am a Dragon Ball (and Z) nut, I am currently working on a wooden sign for our kids bedroom door.. it will say, "DESTRUCTION IN PROGRESS" ...
Can anyone guess who the super evil unpainted villain is? ;D If you've ever watched Dragon Ball Z you will know in an instant who this 'Destroyer of Worlds' is....Muhahahaha!
Holy smokes! I love the details on the fur, no wonder why someone paid you !
I admit, I haven't watched a single episode of Dragon Ball Z (was too scary for me at the time so I never planned on watching it) but the glowing affect on that - erm...globe, planet (?) is incredible !
Haha yeah, it get's pretty violent at times... Thanks! It's a planet exploding. ^^ Took me 4 hours just to get that glow right!
I'd put the yellow on, go over with blue, go over with yellow, blue again..etc about 6 times before i did the last yellow highlights and blue between them... I was SO happy for the planet part to be over and done with!
Hahahaha, well I'm a huge fan of many anime shows, i loved Dragon Ball... Goku was so cutely naive and chubby!
Haha, actually i just got up to where Cell appears in DBZ... He's not really a destroyer of worlds, just of the Earth. But that villain I'm painting is actually Frieza (in his first form).
