Kingfisher with broken wing...

Poor guy,
It's really hard to rescue small birds, they are so fragile. If he does pass away you did the best, he was very lucky to be in a warm safe place away from predators. :)

Oh no! I'm *so* sorry, Tab! It could be that little Freddy has worse internal injuries than we could imagine. He's been so brave to try hard for this long (and so have you) - sending prayers and good thoughts that he might recover. If not, may his passing be gentle. Love to Tab and Freddy! <3

Cant believe he was so great yesterday :/
Poor little thing..

And now im home alone because my brother has gone away as well as mum.. So means i will have to bury him myself :(

Awe!!!! I'm so sorry! You did great with him! No doubt you tried your best to keep him alive! So sorry he didn't make it. :(

You did the best you could and made his last few days of suffering easy <3 Finding hurt animals isn't easy, it doesn't always have the best outcome, but at least he felt comfort and warmth before his time was done <3

Awww so sorry to hear Tab. You did the very best that you could and most definitely more than most people would ever consider doing to help a poor injured bird. Sorry that you have to do the burial yourself. Thoughts and hugs being sent your way.

RIP little Freddy

Hugs Tab! You did a noble job, trying to save little Freddy - I think he knew you were doing your best for him. Burying him is the last service you'll do for him, but his little life wasn't in vain - he touched so many of us from all around the world! Rest in peace, Freddy: you were a good bird!

Aww, very sorry to hear. Thank you so much for being so good to him.
