I was on the phone today with my dad (on speaker) and I think Gilbert needed to remain the center of attention. He yelled over us "you're a good boy" and made kiss sounds, over and over, and when we would laugh, he would cackle along and then start it all over. LOL
Trying to encourage a few new words, although this is sort of cute on its own.....

Ruffled, how adorable! He's a good talker. How large are Blue Crowned Conures in comparison to a Sun or Green Cheeked? Not that I would EVER think about getting another parrot. 0

Gilbert is a little larger than my sun conure was.....which is obviously quite a bit bigger than a green cheek! He is a lot more stocky than Georgie, my sun, was. She was a very slender build where he is not much different in length (head to tail) but is a stockier body overall.
He has that squeaky little voice but he is very entertained trying to talk and will finally do it in front of other people.

Thanks.....he is hilarious saying that because he seems to have learned everyone thinks it is cute so he continually says it and waits for you to fuss on him, LOL. Last night i was having trouble getting him to go to bed--just climbed to the side of the cage by the door yelling "you're a good boy!!!" and it was LATE for him. He is a little nut.
