Hi all! Well there's not much to say when it comes to my Sweet Pea. She is just a good, sweet baby. I am still amazed with what she's been through that she's still so sweet! She is no problem at all! She is eating pellets pretty good and we are still working on more fruits and veggies. She really is good about playing with her toys and keeping herself entertained. She is hardly ever "LOUD". I am taking it very slow with her. I let her out of her cage every day and hubby and I can both pet her head/neck anytime. She won't step up yet and I'm not rushing her. I still don't know if she knows how and just isn't ready, or if she doesn't know how. She has bluffed a couple times and acted like she was going to bite me, but she didn't. She talks, dances, sings...etc. Sassy knows she's here...lol. They talk back and forth. Peanut taught Sassy her little song that she always sings...and Sassy taught Peanut how to growl like a chihuahua:09: Cisco just does his own thing...stays on me or hubby or else plays on his playgym and doesn't pay any attention to the fact that there's another bird in the house.

I do have a question about the quarantine period though. She was at my friends house for about a month before she came here. There were no other birds at my friends. Does that count as quarantine?? Just wondered...

Awwww glad to hear Peanut fits right in with you:) Sounds like this precious baby really needed a good home! I would personally say if she's been to the vet (and given a clean bill of health) and was at the other persons house for a month before you got her, she's healthy enough to be introduced.

I'm thrilled to hear Peanut (Sweet Pea) is doing so well. So sweet that Peanut and Sassy are exchanging vocabulary words and sounds. I'm glad she is eating her pellets and some fruits and vegetables. I've heard so much about cockatoo's outrageous screams, but I don't often hear much about their beautiful, awkward indoor voices or the happy, silly songs they sing for pure joy. I knew Peanut would thrive in your home.

Awww...thank you guys so much! I'm not going to rush introducing them all. There's plenty of time. I hope I can have two (probably Cisco and Peanut based on their overall temperament) out at the same time. Maybe someday Sassy too.... Don't get me wrong...Sassy is great...she is just kind of...ummm... crazy:32: sometimes..lol. At least she's always good with me:09:
