i have a 6yr old female jenday conure. my girl friend gave the parrot. i spend alot time with her on a daily basis.. she has a quiet enviorenment. hears 2 things that concern me very much. 1- shes been feather picking alot. i feel more than normal.i either mist her or give her bird baths weekly. possibly mites?? couldnt be bordem, the only time she gets stressed is when my girlfriend is at my house. 2- the past few days shes been violently biting me on my hands, neck, face. this hasnt happened before. im very concerned. possible egg binding?? , stress from possible mites?? hormonal changes?? i have a vet visit set up for this week. could anyone give some sound advice for me?? please and thanks

Hormones plays a big part in it but only your vet can diagnose any potential issue as we're not there in person to observe so we can only speculate.
