I got a picture of the mothers eyes, I brought the cage into the living room to get natural light on her, to give you a better look. It's the best my camera can do. thank you for all your help and advice!!

And I see the photos of the other chicks. Lutino chick appears plucked, and I think all three are pearls. Looks to be Cinnamon Pearl, Cinnamon Pearl Pied and Pearl Lutino? (possibly cinnamon, possibly pied) Hard to tell for sure with the photo.

Here's a couple of good sites on mutations
Mutations - Just Cockatiels! (owner of Mousebirds & More photos I linked to above)
Cockatiel Pictures - Baby Birds - Adult Birds - Varied Mutations (great visual guide to cockatiel mutations! - open the images in a new page to see larger images!)

The following website is neat, although since it doesn't host images directly on the website, many of the images for mutations are dead...
The Parrot Pages - Cockatiel Mutation Information
The Parrot Pages - Cockatiel Mutation Project

You can't assume what any offspring can be unless you have the precise mutation & splits the parents carry. So a lot of test breeding needs to be done to actually work out all the mutations that 1 male can carry. Multi split males can pass on a multitude of colours & patterns.:)

yes, you are correct Monica, the oldest is the Lutino, and is missing feathers across her back, due to being plucked, but the other two babies have their feathers.

That's so true! The only way to really tell is by many generations and all we can do is assume by the babies that was hatched out. I get a headache reading on genetics and mutations....And I've been reading it for years and it still gives me a headache every time I attempt....lol
