Got this sweet girl a couple days ago. Her parents are both turquoise conures, but their whole clutch had high black and green coloring. She does have *some* turquoise coloration on her back. Is this some weird mutation? She is 3 mo old and has been on a high quality diet including fresh chop. I’m being harassed by facebook Karens for calling her a turquoise. Any ideas?

Looks like she has some major stress bars and damage to her feathers.
Lots of baby birds, especially conures, look rough, especially before their first molt.
She appears to be a turquoise, she’s just in need of a good molt!
And lots of fresh veggies and pellets!

Thank you! I’m sure being weaned and rehomed was very stressful for her. Will post update when she molts!
