is this a good Blue and Gold Macaw Cage???

Ohhh right, but Fargo is a special kind of Macaw who takes great pride in his feathers!!! He's not just a Macaw ! ;)

Good point Tab....you're right, Fargo is perfect and he has a perfect tail. Do they have different sizes in corner cage though and you have the biggest?

Tab, it's easy for you to clean it because you're young and flexible and you can easily fit inside without bending the bottom! LOL

HAHA That could be true, he likes looking pretty ;)

Ummm, well mine is about 73 x 51 x 51
It was the biggest i could find in Australia.. You can get them in smaller sizes i think

Oh no way.... Flexible? Not in the slightest... My bones ache like an old person.. I have this extra bone in my back which the doctors said will cause me back pain.. and it does... If i bend over for more than 2 seconds it aches :p and my knees have issues cause of soccer...
So really, when im cleaning the cage i am hurting hahaha

But it only takes me about 5-10 minutes to do a full clean! I clean each day, so its easy, rather than waiting a few days, then you have more to scrub! :)

The cage Wendy posted would be great, its wider, it isnt the same height, but that height is perfect anyway, because you only need about 2 levels, so aslong as they fit head to tail on both its fine!
Like in Fargo cage, he has 2 main levels, and the cage could be shorter and it would still fit! :)
Width is more important than height.. Just aslong as its high enough ;)

Ok idk who to listen to. Some people say the one i picked is fine, some people say its to small.....what should i do

In the end it's your decision, Benjamin. I am a big fan of the way Fargo's cage is set up. I say just go for the biggest corner cage you can afford and find.

Good luck!

I think.im going to go with the cage that i first posted. Thanks everyone :blue1: :)

just wondering if this if a good cage for a blue and gold macaw. to get a cage with a foot more height adds like 300+$ not that i wouldnt spend it but those cages also look like their legs are longer so its still in general the same size cage. To be honest once he is trained a bit i dont plan on keeping him in the cage much. i know a lot of people give them free range of a whole room or even the whole house with them. i plan on giving him the whole living room once he is trained and knows to poop in his cage.

here is the link to the cage i was looking at. i like the copper color but i was thinking it might cause distraction from his colors. it comes in 5 color pallets. any advice on which one to pic if not the copper is nice to :)

im really hoping this is a good cage for him. i want a corner cage and this seemed like the best option because it has more width then the taller ones i was seeing as well so he can spread his wings.

PLUS IT HAS LOCKS LOL

I have the cage you are looking @ for your B&G and he loves it! plenty of room, besides they have outside time of the cage too so it is a great size cage in my opinion. Also my B&G is on the LARGER size of the B&G's.... lol Best of luck making a decision. <3 :blue1:
