Is it safe for my IRN to learn to fly this way?

I let my IRN out for the 3rd time yesterday and he flew directly into a wall that isn't reflective in the slightest.

I'm guessing he is still learning to fly but is it safe to let him continue learning this way?

I posted a similar comment in a thread I made before but it seems like people assume you aren't asking another question when you're the last to comment on your own thread, which is perfectly understandable.

well no, a bird shouldn't be flying into a wall. I'll let the others handle a solution for this as I'm not experienced enough in this topic.
