Green Cheeked Conure: Kiwi

Pacific Green Rumped Parrotlet: Peeps
Hey there, I have a parrotlet and a green cheeked conure. I feel that I don't really get them the proper nutrients they should be getting and so i've desided to do something about it. I'm feeding them "Roundybush Daily Maintenance Diets", I buy them from Drs Foster&Smish. I also am going back to feeding them "Golden Sunburst Millet" and also going to feed them once a week some "Avi-Cake". I want to also go back to feeding them veggies and some fruits. I heard that feeding your parrot an all seed diet dosn't get them the nutrition they need and can even get them really overweight. But is it ok to put a very little seed in they're diet? Like maybe one teaspoon along with the rest of that food? I know that all the above sounds like a little to much(at least it does for me)but their main diet will be the roundybush daily maintenance diet, fruit and veggies, and the seed if it's ok to feed them some. When I fed them millet, I fed them one spray millet once every week, and the avi cakes will be the same. I plan to also get them somelittle treats with some seed, and veggies mixed insided on a stick(you know what I mean)

So is it ok for me to feed some seed?

Also if you think that what i'm feeding them is to much, maybe you could help me with how much to actually give them. I give the parrots each 1 tablespoon of pellets a day(sad to say that's pretty much all i've been giving them) Maybe I could do something like half a tablespoon of pellet, half a tablespoon of seed, and then an assortment of the fruits and veggies. What do you guys think? Anyway it'd be really nice if you could help me out hear, tell me if the seeds ok, see what you think of what i'm going to give them, amounts given. Thanks so much. :)

(oh btw, this is the first time in about a month that I think i've posted anything. Glad to be back, been pretty busy) :D :D

My birds all get pellets, fresh foods, mash and seeds with human grade nuts everyday.

Check this link out! I think it will answer your questions. I feed my bird a mix of fresh food (bananas, apples, etc), pellets, seed, & a warm "pasta dish" daily. She is healthy & very happy with what I give her. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Hey sweet that is a very informative link birdiemomma. Thank you! :)

There are very good quality seed out there that contains pumpkin seeds etc. I give Sterretjie seed instead of pellets 3 times a week. Her main diet consist of veggies, fruit and greens and she chooses it above pellets and seed.
