Is he trying to make me his mate???

What are the signs of these guys when choosing their mate. We have only had Rizzo for about 1 1/2 weeks and he is good with me but some of his behaviors make me think he is trying to make me his mate. What shoudl i watch out for to make sure he is just being a good boy and not a horn dog. lol. I have heard horror stories about macaws becoming attached to someone in "mate" kind of way.

Well sometimes macaws will present a feeding opportunity or should I say always when they get bonded to you... Almost all of my macs offer me food. And they also offer there heads to be scritched. The worst behavior to have started is bringing up food when they offer it as now it is going to far IMO... I just ignore the behavior and hope it stops as truly I can't accept there food. The next issue would be masturbation... Again ignore this behavior because it needs to stop as you can become there mate and it will frustrate them.
