I'm still new to owning my conure, so get paranoid about absolutely everything; whether she is O.K. and if I am doing things right!!!!
My 7 month old Rosie is losing some of her teeny tiny feathers (no big ones like tail or wing), and has been for about a month now. I got paranoid that she was plucking due to boredom whilst I'm at work, but she has lots of pin feathers on her head, neck and cheeks. She loves being scratched (more so now than ever- she adorably scratches her face with lollipop sticks), but lets me know when there's a tender patch!!! I'm assuming this is a molt as she has pin feathers? or that she's still a baby and is just growing some in?
Just wanted to double check that this is all normal!

P.S. oh an she's grown more red feathers on her crown so I'm also hoping that this means all is normal too???
