My indian ringneck, ringo NEVER stoppes biting my watch and I cant get it off him, he will do anything to get to it and hang on to it and he is ruining my watch!!! what can i do???
Oh, yeah... Max has successfully ruined my watch... A stainless steel water proof one... I never could get it open, but Max could... One day I let him play with it, and after that I couldn't close it... I'm sure it can be fixed, but I'm not too worried... I have the time on my computer, my phone and my iPod...
What to do? Don't wear your watch, while your bird is out....
Don't wear rings, watches, nail polish, necklaces, bracelets, pins or anything you don't want chewed. My wedding ring needs to get fixed now thanks to JJ's chewing.
I wonder if their chewing of these things is based in a preening motive. Are they trying to remove these things from us? Or just fascinated by our gizmos?
Anything I frequently touch or look at, Max is interested in... The computer keyboard - I've given him a calculator with same kinds of keys, but I don't use it, so he's not interested... I use a portable timer a lot, and Max will fly away with it, given half a chance... If I'll eat he, so will he...
Just like a children our birds want what they are not supposed to have. They know that too. If my bird gets a no no item in her beak she tries to run aways with it and keep me from getting to it.
