Introduction - here to learn

Hi all! My name is Renee I am from Los Angeles and I am here to lurk and learn. I grew up with birds, distinctly remember the work involved. That said it’s something I’ve wanted to do one day and preferably adopt an older adult. Still years off before I take this on but I would like to join, watch and learn. I have five grown kids and one 10yo. I think I’d like to wait until she goes off the college and all our dogs are gone. I also have a 25yo leopard tortoise(she lives outside full time). So I’ll be around watching and learning all I can. Have a great day!
